Star of the Week
Ivy Ngo is helpful, motivated, enthusiastic, and friendly. She always goes above and beyond by doing quality work in class and in her homework. For example, she organizes her journal writing by following the T-chart, and writing with interesting vocabulary and details. She is enthusiastic about learning and that shows because you can always find her reading or writing in her spare time. Ivy is also an observant friend who pays attention to others and speaks up for them when needed. Let’s be enthusiastic, just like Ivy!

Manasi Shirali is the first student in this class to write a 4-page opinion letter booklet. This shows that she can write with lots of details, and referred back to the book to help her find evidence and reasons for her opinion. Let's write booklets just like Alyssa!
March Mathematician of the Month
